HOW IT WORKS

Collect, process, and review

1

Log at end of each shooting day

The base runner or transport captain opens the app and logs: generator size, hours run, fuel type, and approximate load. Takes 30 seconds per entry.
2

Fuel type is recorded, not assumed

HVO, diesel, and grid hookup each apply different factors. The tool captures which was used so the calculation reflects the actual fuel, not a default.
3

Each day builds the running total

Daily logs accumulate through the shoot. A switch from diesel to HVO midway through is captured and reflected in the export automatically.
WHAT YOU GET

  • Load level
  • kWh equivalent
  • kg CO₂e per shooting day

Exports to

WHY IT MATTERS

A 250kVA diesel generator at 50% load for 12 hours produces roughly 250 kg CO₂e. Over a 50-day shoot that's 12.5 tonnes — a material share of most productions' total footprint. At 30 seconds per day, the friction is low enough that it actually happens. The person doing it is already at unit base at the end of every shooting day.
